What is included in the Black Tie Espresso service?
Black Tie Espresso Bar includes unlimited hot and iced espresso beverages for the duration of your booking. We deliver and set up our mobile cart, include our bar service equipment, side tables with black linens, beverage ingredients and supplies, cups, condiments, extension cords and a custom latte art stencil for the top of the drinks.
Is setup/load-in and breakdown/load-out included, and how long will each take?
Setup and break down each take approximately 1 hour.
How much space do you need? How big is your cart?
Our mobile cart is 5 feet long and 2.5 feet wide. With our additional 6 foot tables, we try to keep our foot print under 25 square feet. Our affogato/nitro float station requires an cooling/ice station to manage the iced goods.
We prefer to be against a wall close to our dedicated power source or with some type of backing to create a safe and self-contained work space.
Can you set up up earlier, or break down later?
We can accommodate most early load in and late load out requests for an additional fee as long as we are provided with details least 2 weeks prior to the service date.
Do you need access to power? Can you bring a generator? Do you bring extension cords?
Yes, we do need access to either grounded power or a generator for the duration of our service. We are able to provide a generator for an additional charge. We always bring (2) 50ft extensions cords and residue free gaffers tape to safely secure our cords over walkways.
Grounded Power Requirement: Our machines require a dedicated 20 amp, 110 volt circuit. This is a standard outlet, nothing fancy, but we are not able to share power with any other vendors, DJs, photo booths, large appliances, sound, visual, or lighting equipment.
Generator Power Requirement: We require a 6500 watt or larger generator for our machines.
Generator Rental: We can provide a generator rental for an additional charge.
Do you offer smoothies and/or blended coffee and tea drinks?
Not at this time. We are working on our matcha service, so stay tuned!
Do you offer espresso martinis, Irish coffees, mimosas, and/or any other alcohol bar services?
Our baristas are not legally allowed to pour alcohol, but what you and your guests do with your drinks after we hand them off is entirely you and your guests prerogative.
We are also happy to recommend local bartending services for your event.
What espresso/coffee do you use?
We proudly source our beans from the finest local roasters. We try to provide a bean that has a consistent, optimal flavor profile that works well with the selected menu drinks.
Do you offer decaf?
Unfortunately, we don’t offer decaf. While we already feel decaf is somewhat of a sin, it takes time to dial in the grinder on the main featured bean. To provide decaf, we would have to recalibrate the grinder for the grind, dial in the shot for decaf, then recalibrate both grinder and the machine for the original coffee. In order to ensure we get beverages out to you and your guests in a timely fashion, we opted out of fresh decaf espresso for single cart operations.
Do you have Non-Dairy / Sugar-Free options?
Yes, our standard service includes oat and almond milk as well as sugar-free sweeteners. We include sugar free vanilla as the standard sugar free syrup.
Does the service include cold brew?
Cold brew and nitro cold brew can be provided for an additional charge. Nitro Float service automatically includes nitro cold brew.
What flavors are available?
We proudly use only the finest French syrup brand "1883". No preservatives, Non-GMO, 100% Cane Sugar, No High Fructose Corn Syrup, Vegan, Kosher, Halal, Dairy-Free and Allergen-Free.
